Virtual Giraffe Specialists Talk with Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

Join us in welcoming giraffe specialists Amy Schilz and Dr. Liza Dadone from the world renowned Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for a presentation on the wonderful world of giraffes. Learn how they work with the individual giraffes in their herd, as well as how they have built their skill sets in order to leverage them to help save giraffes in the wild. Come with all your giraffe questions for this unique opportunity to learn about the earth’s tallest mammals!

Join us at the Galveston College Seibel Wing, at 1:00 pm for her keynote speech, followed by a 15 minute Q and A, and 2:00 pm book signing. Refreshments will be served!
